Writer/Host: Laila Morcos Zissis (New Orleans, LA) is the co-founder of Nektarios Aegina Productions, LLC, the production company behind Breast Cancer Unleashed. She was diagnosed in 2020 with ER+/HER2- breast cancer. Laila lives in New Orleans with her husband Tim and is a Professional Certified Coach, National Board-Certified Health & Wellness Coach and has a private coaching practice where she provides intuitive coaching and visionary solutions to her work with clients looking to achieve joy, energy, and confidence in their lives. Laila is also the founder of a trade association called LikeMinded Ladies, a membership organization that supports women both personally and professionally. She is also an award-winning journalist and spent many years in public relations, marketing, advertising, and sales. Like Lia, Laila also has an active life in her Orthodox community.

Lia was diagnosed with triple positive breast cancer In 2017. Lia lives In Cleveland, Ohio, with her husband Alex and three children. Lia and her family are active members in their home Greek Orthodox parish. Professionally Lia works in the Oncology healthcare field guiding physicians and genetic counselors on proper hereditary diagnostic tools. Lia enjoys finding different ways in which she can give back to other breast cancer patients and families. She’s been a featured keynote speaker at numerous breast cancer fundraising events.
